There are a few different ways to find e-books.
Option 1: You can search the individual e-books databases (you will need to enter your Portal username and password to access the database content from off-campus).
Try using quotation marks around titles with more than one word, eg. "To Kill a Mockingbird"; this will ensure that the title is searched exactly as typed.
Option 2: a.) Type the title of e-book you're looking for or enter a search term or keyword into OneSearch, as shown below.
b.) After you have entered your desired term, when the next screen appears, you will want to select "Full-Text Online" underneath "Refine Your Search" as well as "Book/E-book" underneath "Content Type", as shown below.
Look for "eBook: Full Text Online" underneath the title of the book as shown below. This tells you that the full book is available online.
Once you have selected your e-book, you usually have a few different options, depending on which database the e-book is located in. Look for options that say "Read online", "Download", or "PDF Full Text".
If you are off-campus, you will need to enter your Portal username and password to view the content of the e-books, regardless of which method you use.
Please contact the library if you need help or have any trouble searching!
